Tamaki Marine Park

36 Gabador Place, Mount Wellington

By Sea – Tamaki Marine Park is approx. 7nm up river from Browns Island/Achilles Point under the Panmure and South Eastern Highway Bridges. Depth is generally very good all tides. Vessels with game poles/high antennas may need to lower these at high tide to get under the Panmure Bridge.  There is generally good depth up Tamaki River. A navigation guide is available for you via the Navionics Boating App available here. This is a guide only for your reference. The slip way is easy to find. There is a dedicated work berth to tie up to whilst awaiting haul out. This is shown below indicated in red. This is a starboard to berth, with fenders and mooring lines required, note that the incoming tide will hold you off the marina finger. There are 5-knot restrictions in parts of the Tamaki River. By Land – Located just 5 minutes off the southern motorway, Tamaki Marine Park provides easy access for boat owners visting the yard. The secure yard with night security patrols provides the ideal location for all service work on your vessel. A gate code for after-hours access is available on request.
